Salaar dominates the domestic market despite clash with Dunki
Salaar, which released on December 22, 2023, faced a tough competition from Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, which also hit the screens on the same day. However, Salaar managed to overpower Dunki in most of the regions, especially in the southern states, where Prabhas enjoys a huge fan following. According to trade analysts, Salaar has collected around Rs.70 crore in India, with Rs.40 crore coming from the Telugu states alone. In the Hindi belt, Salaar faced a stiff challenge from Dunki, but still managed to rake in Rs.8.64 crore, which is commendable considering the clash.
