BACLONAGAR (Chhattisgarh): Ramesh Nair, CEO and Whole Time Director, Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (Balco) inaugurated the Solar Energy Plant installed in Comprehensive Building. On this occasion, Deepak Prasad, Head- Aluminium Business, Balco and lot of officers were present.
The capacity of the solar plant is 3 KW. This system will partially take care of the power requirements of Comprehensive Building.
Avinash Chavan, Head- M.R.S.D.S said that a solar energy plant has been installed in Balco for the first time. The unit established with an outlay of Rs 2.50 lakhs will help save 6000 units of power and Rs 50,000 per annum.
Chavan also shared that Balco has a plan to install solar energy system with a capacity of 500 KW in the coming year. The solar plant implementation has received active cooperation from Anish Rao, Soham Chattopadhya and Ms. Sabina Yasmin from M.R.S.D.S. Saurabh Nag and Shashwat Pathak Executive Assistants to the Chief Executive Officer, Balco have also shown wonderful cooperation towards the Solar Energy Plant installation.
