Why was the QUIN created?

The QUIN was created in response to the growing importance of critical technologies in the global economy. Critical technologies are those that are essential for the smooth functioning of the economy and the security of the nation. They include technologies such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and 5G.

How does the QUIN work?

The QUIN is a voluntary network. Quad members can participate in the network by sharing information on critical technologies and by co-investing in these technologies.

The QUIN also has a number of working groups that focus on specific areas of critical technology investment. These working groups provide a forum for Quad members to discuss and collaborate on investment-related issues.

What are the benefits of QUIN?

The QUIN offers a number of benefits to Quad members, including:

Increased coordination on critical technology investment
Greater influence over the development of critical technologies
Secured supply chains for critical technologies
