NEW DELHI: Prof. Saurabh Mittal (Faculty, Asia-Pacific Institute of Management, New Delhi) honoured at the 21st Dewang Mehta Business School Awards. The award ceremony was held in Hotel Taj Lands End, Mumbai on 23rd October 2013. Prof. Saurabh Mittal received the award for Best Professor in Information Technology.
The Dewang Mehta Business School Award recognises talent and leadership amongst business schools across India. The Awards are supported by Ms Shaila Mehta-Director, Onward Foundation for Dewang Mehta Awards. The Patron is Mr Harish Mehta, Chairman & Managing Director Onward Technologies Ltd. The Chairman of the Jury was Dr Prasad Medury, Partner, Amrop International. Set up in the memory of the late Dewang Mehta, the award is in recognition of leadership, development, innovation and industry interface of the business school.
Prof. Saurabh Mittal teaches courses in Management Information System, E-Business and IT for Managers. He is very active in the domain of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development. Prof. Mittal Started my career at SR Infotech. He worked with EPFO- Govt of India for 2.5 years and in June 2008, he joined JK Business School and JK Padampat SInghania Instt of Management & Technology, Gurgaon as Convener- IT & Asst Professor. Currently, he is Area-Chairperson of the Information Technology area at Asia-Pacific Institute of Management, New Delhi.
Simultaneously, working closely with INDIACSR on the various projects related to Corporate Social Responsibility. He has organised MDPs on CSR Evaluation & Reporting, Non Financial Reporting, ISO 26000 : Guidelines for CSR and ONLINE MARKETING. He has chaired International Conference on CSR & Sustainability, BANGKOK (Thailand). Prof. Mittal was the Convener- MEGA CONFERENCE on CSR & Competitiveness on 09th May 2012 in Mumbai organised by INDIACSR (Largest CSR Portal of India). He has several publications in International and national journals of repute to his credit. He has published books on Information Technology and CSR too.
