Rusen Kumar, Founder and CEO, India CSR stated, ‘We are thrilled with Prof Colin Coulson-Thomas’s appointment. He is incredibly well-prepared to lead the sustainability discourse and will undoubtedly bring enthusiasm and passion to his role’.

When asked what drove him to Prof Colin Coulson-Thomas in the first place Rusen Kumar highlighted the India CSR’s open door, collaborative and collegiate culture. India CSR is an incredibly friendly workplace. As a leading CSR media, we have to play a major role in promoting a sustainable and low carbon future. Prof Colin Coulson-Thomas is truly incredible in this regard.

“Sustainability and CSR are extremely personal goals for me and I stand in solidarity with the India CSR in their mission and vision,” Prof Colin Coulson-Thomas said.

“We cannot continue as before with activities that degrade the environment, reduce biodiversity and contribute to global warming. Individual and collective assumptions, aspirations, goals and priorities may have to be reviewed and re-thought. Organisations also need to change. Many of them could be repurposed, renewed and revitalised.”, he said.

“Transition and transformation possibilities, new models of business, operation and service, and alternative ways of working, learning and living abound. The reimagining, reshaping and revisioning of desired and shared futures to be more inclusive, responsible and sustainable requires caring creativity and commitment and inspiration, innovation and invention. Together these interrelated activities represent exciting opportunities to engage and connect and they offer unprecedented scope for collaboration, enterprise and social entrepreneurship.”, he added.

India CSR Goodwill Ambassador is incredible achiever in CSR and Sustainability.
