At regular intervals Dr. Singh travels to all the branch offices affirming Human Resource contentment, business growth, approving financial paperwork, boosting overall profitability, signing contractual paperwork and stimulating overall development. Under his leadership, he equipped subordinates and team members use their full potential and exhibit desired
output.

Having a strong relationship with sea carriers, NVOCC’s, airlines, rail operators, various port authorities and ICD’s corroborates sharp freight pricing and movement of shipment as desired. Dr. Singh is an itinerant fiercely travelling for business planning, growth and commercial development. He established various agents worldwide and appraised them operationally of Indian Market requirements.

Accounts are termed a backbone whilst Operations are sighted as the heart which is considered as a major responsibility. This operational guidance lends a huge abetment to people across continents to understand, act and meet deadlines which are crucial in Shipping & Logistics.

His savviness yielded robust results in high-speed business turnover. He also visits numerous trading, manufacturing units and EOU’s who regularly trade with Indian Subcontinent. Having visited all international base seaports, Dr. Singh understands the operational procedures of each port and its timeline required. These visits prove to give an edge and fortifies business service provider role in catering to customer demand effectively. Keeping in mind his immense talent, expertise, aptitude & credible determination, he received Hon’ble Doctorate Degree. In a short span of time, he acquired various rewards and recognitions making him an autocrat & a supreme ruler in Shipping & Logistics.

LIFE PATH

Dr. Pushpendra Pratap Singh is a Shipping & Logistics Expert, currently working with Asia Shipping International Transport Pvt. Ltd. as “Country Head” in Brazilian based Conglomerate. He is an alumnus of Ch. Charan Singh University and AIMA – CME for Masters in Business Management. In 2022, received Hon’ble Doctorate Degree from World Peace Institute of United Nations.

Dr. Singh was born in Jan 1975, Aligarh, UP, he is the youngest of all the siblings. Dr. Singh is a fitness freak since his childhood which helped in keeping the mind clear and the body fit. He learned to share and care from a very young age.

Having completed Masters in Business Management from New Delhi, he started his career in 1998 by joining Schaefco International which is one of a leading freight forwarding company of USA in Sales team. After Shaefco International, in 1999 he joined WW Shipping agencies Pvt. Ltd. (as agents for Samudera Shipping Line Ltd.).

Travelled overseas & within India extensively for business meetings, building partner network, visiting various ports to understand operations, Dr. Singh is a multifaceted persona. He received several prestigious awards in Shipping & Logistics for his excellent work and remarkable achievements. He is born with a Midas touch and extends his helping hand for CSR activities helping to build the nation for future.

In 2006, he joined Agility Logistics India Pvt. Ltd. as Manager – Business Development (Kuwait based multinational with approx. 200 offices worldwide). Here, he focused on air & ocean freight through shippers & consignees and assisted Sales Team in developing Ocean Freight Business as he had strong relationship with Shipping Lines. He dealt with corporate Clients, known shippers and generated SOP’s to ensure successful account integration to Operations & Customer Service team. Reported to the management on market situation with customer feedback for any requirement to the management to increase customer base. In 2008, joined Jas Forwarding Worldwide Pvt. Ltd. as Manager – Sales. In a span of one year, he was promoted as Regional Manager – Business Development Ocean (North) lending his shoulder to the north India freight forwarding team. Jas Forwarding Worldwide is head quartered in Atlanta & takes care of door-to-door, consolidations, imports & exports via Air & Sea. He developed Ocean Business across Northern Region negotiating best rates with main line carriers & exports business locally.

2013 was an inordinate year wherein his horizon broadened by Joining Hanjin Logistics India Pvt Ltd. as National Manager – Strategic Sales. Hanjin, a Korea Based multinational headquartered in Seoul is into Global Freight Forwarding, warehousing & Road Transportation.

In 2017, Dr. Singh headed EUSU Logistics India Pvt. Ltd. as Chief Commercial Officer.  EUSU Logistics originated out of Korea and expanded its offices into Asian continent with 53 major cities in 19 countries. With a strong manpower of 1000, EUSU boasts of South Asia Tradelane with turnkey projects, International Freight Forwarding, Logistics & warehousing. Dr. Singh was responsible for overall business growth & functioning of the company in India.

He was reporting directly to Korean MD whilst all vertical heads were accountable & reporting to Dr. Singh. In 2019, he joined Asia Shipping International Transport Pvt Ltd. as “Country Head – Commercial”. Contemplating his performance & strong leadership skills, in a tenure of 1 year, he was elevated as “Country Head”. In this position he is heading PAN INDIA team and is responsible for comprehensive business growth in India.
