INTRODUCTION

India CSR is felicitating safe and inclusive workplaces in India through India POSH Awards 2022, the maiden awards on ‘Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH) at Workplace’ in India.

As organisations are progressing towards bringing in an equal and safe workplace for women, this initiative aims to promote innovation and successes in making workplaces safer for women.

The Award would be conferred upon the organisations that have proactive innovative approach towards preventing sexual harassment.

India’s first legislation specifically addressing the issue of workplace sexual harassment; the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (“POSH Act”) was enacted by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, India in 2013.

EVALUATION PARAMETERS

1. Governance and Compliances
2. Safety trainings conducted and the frequency
3. IC well equipped to handle their roles
4. Innovation in eliminating/reducing workplace harassment/discrimination
5. Best Practices implemented in the last 3-5 years from 2017 to 2019, evidence available to validate the same.
6. Best initiative for safety measures
7. Safety measure taken for employees within and outside office

KEY CRITERIA

The awards process is open to all Indian registered companies/ NGO’s/ Social Enterprise but not to branch offices of foreign entities.

Data should be furnished for a single entity and not combined with group information.

The information given in the questionnaire should indicate details / data / information relevant to the Financial Year <2018-19>, and FY <2019-20>.

SELECTION PROCESS

Step 1 > Questionnaire/ Entries scrutiny by Independent Agencies

Step 2 > Evaluation basis defined eligibility and established parameters

Step 3 > Interaction with applicant and document verification

Step 4 > Discussion with the top management, HR Head, POSH Head etc. of Shortlisted applicants

Step 5 > Jury Discussion on Short listed applications

Step 6 > Selection of Winner in each category

DEADLINE AND WHERE TO SEND

In view of the above, India CSR invites the nominations from Indian Companies India to submit the duly filled-in form along with the required supporting documents in soft copy only over email

Annexure # 1 – General Information of the Company

The participating company needs to mandatorily fill in the basic details mentioned in this annexure.

Annexure # 2 – Evaluation Questionnaire

This annexure contains a questionnaire to be signed by the toplevel officials.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. General Information and Questionnaire must be filled in English only;
2. General Information and Questionnaire needs to be complete in all respects;
3. Applicants can provide supporting material if they wish to assist the jury in evaluating their application;
4. All information submitted as part of the Award will be kept confidential and will only be used for jury’s assessment;
5. Each submission will be pre-screened using the same eligibility and selection criteria that willbe used in the finaljudging;
6. Final decision ofthe shortlisting and winner’s selection resides with the Jury basis the evaluation parameters. No organization can hold Jury members/ Evaluation Partner/ India CSR responsible fornon-selection/ selection;
7. Disqualification of entries is at the sole discretion of jury, on a case-by-case basis.
The said disqualification will be as per the rules and regulations defined for the Awards;
8. The declaration must be signed by an authorized signatory from the organization – Chairman/ MD/ CEO/Director. (anyone ofthem only);
9. Nomination fee is non-refundable;
10. If Applicants are unclear as to the Rules & Regulations or any element of the
Awards or have any queries/concerns pertaining to the Awards, they can write in with theirquestions, concerns orqueries.
