HYDERABAD: Pegasystems India, the software company empowering the world’s leading enterprises with strategic business applications, today hosted 20 girls from the Udayan Shanlini Foundation, a NGO, as a part of their CSR initiatives aimed at funding the education of girls.

Speaking on the occasion, Suman Reddy, MD, Pegasystems India said, “We strongly believe in giving back to society and women empowerment is one of our ways to contribute to the community we live as well as work in. Through our collaboration with Udayan Shalini Foundation, we are looking to make a difference in the lives of these 20 girls. We want to give India’s young talented minds access and opportunity to good quality education as well as mentoring.
As part of this program, Pegasystems has tied-up with a local school in Hyderabad to mentor and sponsor six years of education for 20 students, aptly named ‘Pega girls’. The Pega girls along with the NGO representatives were hosted at the Pegasystems office.
