Following is the full text of the speech –

“My good friend and brother former union minister Shri Prakash Javadekar Ji CEO of Niti Aayog Shri Amitabh Kant Ji, Mr. David Ranz US Counsel General in Mumbai, Mr. Shailender Kumar, Mr. Ketan Deshpande Founder Chairman and CEO of FUEL, Mr. Santosh Hurallikoppi, Chief Mentor of FUEL and all the distinguished ladies and gentlemen who are joined as for this program today I truly delighted to join you and meet virtually at the launch of future skills institute and India skill summit at Pune. For this important launch program.

I congratulate the entire fuel team for the remarkable work done by them over the years. Since its inception fuel is being the guiding light for the future of our youth. With their vision to empower youth and enable them to become the torch bearers of tomorrow. FUEL has helped promote the hon’ble pm Shri Narendra Modi’s skill India mission.

The FFSI and India skill summit will provide a forum for the industries to discuss skill trends and opportunities to create a future-ready workforce.

As the Hon’ble pm said and I quote skills development of new generation is a national need and the foundation of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Our government has given priority to skill development skill and innovation is the heart of several foreign institutes with three key objectives. Make in India, innovate in India and transform the Indian economy.

From Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna, Start-up India we have encouraged and empowered our youth. Today we are on the path to becoming the skill capital of the world guided by the mantra of our youth as nation builders, with the second-highest stem graduates in the world, India today has the potential to lead in innovation and detology the budget 2022 aims to skill, reskill and upskill our youth, and as a lead a road map for their growth in Amrit Kal.

In this Amritkal we believe that there are opportunities in new education to supplement education in regional languages to promote virtual labs in science and mathematics.

75 skills elapse for simulated learning environment are proposed to be set up a task force for the promotion of AVTGC will be set up aiming to employ group. We propose to develop a digital university to provide a world-class education at the doorsteps of our youth and several other initiatives are been planned, this fuel with a completed 6 years of start-up India.

It is only through the determination of our youth and the national participation and awakening the consciousness of our young entrepreneur at we have been successful in making this a symbol of new India, our start-ups also turned the very severe covid-19 pandemic and the crisis associated into an opportunity and made 2021 the year of Unicons in India today we have our 80 Unicons and 3rd largest ecosystem with over 60000 start-ups providing lakhs of jobs all across the country.

Our youth is fuelling the nation’s growth and providing solutions to the problems faced by India.

Recently I had an interaction with young women entrepreneurs and innovative between the age group of 10 to 18 and was truly amazed to see their innovation and skill across the various field like low cost biodegrade sanitary napkins smart glow which convert sign language to text and speech use of AI and Data analytics to predict quality and quantity of crops and many other initiatives.

I had the good fortune to visit the Pune university some weeks ago and interact with over 30 start-ups and see their ideas. They were truly remarkable in a wide span of subjects and Ideas that were covered by our young start-ups in Pune.

Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to talk about 4 steps to re-imagining skills to fuel India growth1 skill and upskill our young boys and girls in rural areas they can use technology to link the people in rural India and provided short term skill training to youth who do not have access to formal vocational training or higher education. To become an ambassador of the new quality revolution that we are promoting in India.

We must increase consumer awareness and create sustainable and reliable manufacturing for goods with at most quality focus 3 we must promote innovation and risk-taking we need to inculcate in our youth the spirit of inquiry and also make them fearless entrepreneurs the leaders of tomorrow.

As Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Former President of India has said if you fail then don’t give up fail means first attempt in learning, and 4. We must connect with Indian heritage explore our countries rich culture and traditions to promote skill development and innovation in areas including handlooms, handicrafts and more traditional skills. In conclusion, we must not rest satisfied with the progress made in skilling and employment so far.

We must remember that this satisfying approach with unique ideas will help us to innovate better and innovate smarter and shift to the world of enlightenment through the new world the new age of technology and innovation. The world is watching India which is a very tribute giant leap towards transforming the nation and changing the lives of 136 crore Indians.

India at 100 when we complete independence should become the renowned leader of renovation and skills in the world. This my young friend is the time to dream big this is the time to act upon it thank you very much and once again my warm wishes to all of you on this wonderful occasion thank you.”
