NEW DELHI: ONGC, a multinational oil and gas public enterprise, has initiated Project – DISHA to make its Ahmedabad Asset a Paperless Office, which envisages carrying out regular office jobs without physical movement of paper documents and files.
The Prime Minister launched the project through Video Conference in Nation Capital while inaugurating ONGC’s iconic Corporate Office – Deendayal Urja Bhavan during the nationwide launch of PM Saubhgya Yojna – Govt.’s flagship initiative to provide electricity connection to the last mile.
“The enterprise wide project, which is one of the major IT projects among government/PSUs, is in line with the Digital India initiative, and will create an electronic document management and electronic workflow environment, which will improve efficiency and enhance transparency in day to day functioning of ONGC.”, statement said.
