The Ladies’ Wing of IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry along with the Bajaj Group announced the opening of nomination for its flagship award program, Jankidevi Bajaj Puraskar. The IMC-Ladies’ Wing Jankidevi Bajaj Puraskar-2023 is named after Jankidevi Bajaj, for all her pioneering work in area of rural development.
The award includes a cash prize of Rs.10,00,000/-, along with a certificate and a citation, which will be presented to the deserving recipient as a recognition of their exceptional achievements and dedication. Manish Ghule, Executive Director, Navchetana Sarvangin Vikas Kendra, was bestowed the 29th Jankidevi Bajaj Puraskar in January 2023.
The nominations are open for outstanding candidates who have demonstrated exemplary entrepreneurial skills and have actively contributed to the growth and development of rural businesses. Self-nomination is also accepted, encouraging women entrepreneurs to put forward their own accomplishments and contributions.
The final date to submit the nominations is 31st August 2023. The jury panel consists of distinguished personalities from various fields, will assess the nominations based on specific criteria to ensure a fair and unbiased selection process.
The award aims to recognize and honour the remarkable contributions of Indian women entrepreneurs who have made significant strides in the field of rural business and entrepreneurial development.
