NEW DELHI: The Government of India does not offer incentives but provides compensation to the clients for the loss of wages experienced for undergoing the procedure. The Health Minister, Shri J P Nadda stated this in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha here today.
“Female sterilization is one of the most accepted methods of contraception in India. Government offers a basket of choice to the clients who adopt a method as per their choice.”, minister said.
