MOIL, a Schedule-A Miniratna Category I CPSE, took a major CSR initiative to set up Covid care facility in district hospitals in the State of Madhya Pradesh especially for those residing in remote places which lack medical facilities.
MOIL (earlier known as Manganese Ore India Limited) set up this facility to provide relief to people in preparation for third wave of the Corona pandemic.
On June 25, MOIL handed over 100 oxygenated beds in the first phase, which includes 70 beds at District Hospital Mandla and 30 beds at Sub District Hospital at Nainpur, District Mandla of Madhya Pradesh with an investment of around Rs. 1.03 crore which was virtually inaugurated by Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the presence of Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Steel and by Fagan Singh Kulasteji, Minister of State for Steel.
