Narayan Seva Sansthan organized its 45th free mass wedding ceremony in Udaipur
UDAIPUR (India CSR): Narayan Seva Sansthan successfully hosted its 45th Free Mass Wedding Ceremony for differently-abled and underprivileged couples at Seva Mahatirth, Liyon Ka Guda campus in Udaipur. The two-day celebration brought together 51 couples from across India, who solemnized their marriages through traditional Vedic rituals and sacred ceremonies.
The event was attended by chief guests Darshana Mehta, Yash Mehta, and Om Prakash Soni, along with the institution’s founder Kailash ‘Manav’ Agarwal, Kamla Devi, Vandana Agarwal, Palak Agarwal, donors, social workers, and other distinguished guests.
Of the 51 couples, 25 included persons with disabilities, while 26 came from economically weaker sections. Many of the newlyweds had previously received free corrective surgeries, artificial limbs, calipers, and rehabilitation support from the organization. Several also benefited from skill-development programs that helped them become self-reliant and confident.
The ceremony began with the traditional welcome of the couples, followed by the Toran ritual, exchange of garlands, and the seven sacred vows performed at 51 altars amid Vedic chants. To help the newlyweds start their married life with dignity, the Sansthan presented essential household items, including beds, bedding, wardrobes, utensils, gas stoves, dinner sets, and fans.
Addressing the gathering, President Prashant Agarwal said the institution remains committed to ensuring dignity, confidence, and equal opportunities for persons with disabilities.
With this ceremony, Narayan Seva Sansthan has now facilitated 2,510 marriages, reaffirming its long-standing commitment to compassion, empowerment, and social upliftment.
