HYDERABAD (India CSR): Makuta Developers Chairman and Founder Janardhan Kompally, a distinguished alumnus of Silver Jubilee Government College, Kurnool, has donated Rs. 5 lakh to support meritorious students during the college’s Annual Alumni Meet 2025.
The event, held at the college campus, was attended by S. Sathyanarayana, IAS, Secretary of the BC Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh, as the chief guest, along with Prof. V. Venkata Basava Rao, Vice President (I/C) of Rayalaseema Honours and Cluster University.
Announcing the contribution, Mr. Kompally said the fund will provide Rs. 1 lakh each to five top-performing students of the current academic year. The scholarship aims to encourage excellence among deserving students and help them pursue higher education.
“Education is the greatest investment one can make in the future. I am proud to contribute to the institution that shaped my journey,” Kompally said.
The college management and alumni association extended their gratitude to Kompally for his continued support and commitment to empowering students through education.
