NEW DELHI: At M3M, Women employees from different fields came together to celebrate International Women’s Day at an event organised at their corporate office, Paras Twin Towers, Sector 54, Gurugram, on March 8. The occasion had the effervescent atmosphere of colour, elegance and sobriety that the day has come to be associated with. There was a motivating speech by Surajit Banarjee, President, Human Resources, M3M Group commemorating all the women employees for the wonderful work that they are doing in not only achieving organizational goals but the roles they play in their personal life too.
“We all know that women are part of the solution; that women’s participation in education, health, politics and peace building increases the chances of a more prosperous and stable future. In India and across the globe, women have carved an identity of their own, and contributing to the betterment of the society,” he said.
After a quick bite was the time for Photo-op session for the elegantly stylish women. The event also had its share of fun games and foot-tapping music. As a token of appreciation for the great role being played by inspirational divas, they were felicitated with thoughtful customized souvenirs justly marking the culmination of a motivating fun-filled evening.
International Women’s Day, as the name suggest, is a day to rejoice womanhood, their social, political, economic, cultural achievements and their momentous contributions to society, while placing significance on gender equality. People across the globe come together to commemorate women — not just well-known personalities, but also each woman who plays a crucial part in the shaping of their lives. It emphasizes the equal freedoms and rights that women have access to just like their male counterparts.
