MANGALURU: Karnataka Bank on Friday, July 3, 2015 handed over 85 road barricades and four police umbrellas worth Rs. 5 lakh to the district police as part of its corporate social responsibility activities.
Superintendent of Police S.D. Sharanapap received them from bank’s chief general manager M.S. Mahabaleshwara.
On Saturday, the bank handed over a cheque for Rs. 2 lakh to Bala Samrakshana Kendra, Mangala Seva Samithi, Mangaluru, for building a recreational park for children. Samiti’s Convener P. Ananthakrishna Bhat received the cheque from Mr. Mahabaleshwara.
