JODABANDH: Sesa Sterlite under it’s PR department has come forward to engage the youths of Jodbandh and the nearby villagers in a football Tournament; organized by Sri Chaitanya Sanskrutik Anusthan . In this sportive season an eight day long football tournament at Jodabndh has been concluded in the presence of MLA Lanjigarh and COO Sesa Sterlite where Rupra road defeated Champadeipur in 2-1 goals. Mr K.K.Dave, COO, Sesa Sterlite attended as chief guest and handover the winning Cup along with a cash prize to winning team Captain. Similarly Mr. Balabhadra Majhi, MLA Lanjigarh gave the running prize & Cash Prize to the running team.
On the eve Mr Dave says that company has been trying to bring out various youth to state level under its PR department .This will create a good platform towards exchanging of culture and sports between Players, Villagers, and Guests.
Similarly Mr Majhi said about the development of field and declared Rs.1 Lakh for the stage preparation.
At last all the members as well guests suggest for development of field and sports building which will be put in the district administration for further sanctions. Others presented in the eve are Mr. Koustav Ratan Kundu Head HR, Sidhartha Behera, Prahlad Naik-Ex Sarapanch, Bhimasen Sahu, Gagan Patra, Laxmidhar Santosray, Rabindra Patra, Bhubaneswar Patra, Nilanchal Pradhan etc. Mr. Babula Patra has been awarded for best Refry for the tournament and Rupra Road as best discipline team.
