SRINAGAR (India CSR): In a major boost to Jammu and Kashmir’s healthcare infrastructure, J&K Bank has donated a state-of-the-art critical care ambulance to the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Srinagar, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The fully equipped ambulance—designed for emergency and life-threatening medical situations—was handed over at a formal ceremony held at the S.K. International Convention Centre (SKICC).
On behalf of the bank, Chief General Manager (Operations) Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat presented the symbolic key to SKIMS Director Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Ganai, in the presence of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, General Manager & Divisional Head (Kashmir) Arshad Qadri, General Manager Mohammad Muzaffar Wani, HoD Hospital Management (SKIMS) Dr. G.H. Yatoo, and other senior officials.
Speaking at the event, Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat emphasized the bank’s commitment to community welfare:
