BANGALORE: India CSR, world’s popular CSR newswire, has awarded Ramdas Mane is CMD, Mane Group of Companies with ‘India CSR Sanitation Leadership Award’ for his outstanding contribution to CSR space at India CSR Award gala night held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Bengaluru in the presence of more than 100 CSR leaders.
B. Jayachandra, Hon’ble Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs & Higher Education, Govt. of Karnataka was the Chief Guest of the gala ceremony. Dr. Bhaskar Chatterjee, DG & CEO, India Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) delivered the key note address.
Ramdas Mane is CMD, Mane Group of Companies. He is an industrialist by profession and an entrepreneur by nature. He has been serving people by living his passion to make toilet affordable and usable.

He has been instrumental in supplying portable toilets across the breadth and depth of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Goa, Telangana and Odisha.
He has contributed significantly to various affordable toilet schemes such as Sant Gadgebaba Gram Swachchata Abhiyan and Nirmal Gram Yojana schemes to address the issue of access to clean toilet. Mane has been rendering these services on ‘no profit – no loss basis’. He is a true testimony of making Swachh Bharat Abhiyan a reality.
