Satyam Gambhir is an Impact Leader passionate about the Commons; and committed to building inclusive digital platforms that address the world’s most pressing challenges. He believes, technology could either be the foundation of wealth accumulation in the hands of the few, or could be harnessed for joy and equitability in the society.
He is a co-founder of Platform Commons Foundation and alumnus of Symbiosis Institute of International Business. He started his career as a Consultant with Infosys before transitioning his role into building tech-for-cause at Mindtree for 8 years. His work at the grassroots with waste-pickers, government schools & citizen volunteers turned him into a social entrepreneur.
He is extraordinarily articulate about issues he wants to address in his lifetime. At the moment, Platform Commons is focussing on building Agri and Civic-Tech Platforms. His belief in restoring the socio-economic balance by building technology as a Commons resource is contagious.
Satyam is also mentoring MBA grads in his free time. He has worked as a guest faculty at Christ University and Trainer at Digital Vidya.
