New Delhi: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), a Maharashtra Central Public Sector Enterprise, was recognized for its educational initiative at the 11th India CSR Awards in New Delhi on December 17, 2022. This award recognizes the efforts made by the company to address issues related to preparation of professional education and empowered disadvantaged and rural populations through a range of programs and interventions.
HPCL was honored at the 13th India CSR Leadership Summit by Chief Guest Shri R.K. Sinha, Honorable Former Rajya Sabha Member and Founder & CMD of Security & Intelligence Services (India) Limited (SIS), in the presence of Dr. Shalini Rajneesh, Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Karnataka, and Rusen Kumar, Founder and Managing Editor of India CSR.
Project ‘Kashmir Super-30 Medical’ Launched in Collaboration with Indian Army
HPCL launched the project ‘Kashmir Super-30 Medical’ in collaboration with the Indian Army. This initiative aims to provide top-quality mentorship to talented students from the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh regions to prepare for the NEET entrance examination in India.
The project is important because it provides access to educational resources and opportunities for students who may otherwise lack the means or support to pursue higher education. It also helps to address the shortage of healthcare providers in these regions and improve the overall quality of healthcare for the local population.
