RAIPUR: Chandan Verma, a seasoned social development professional and national partnership officer – Govt. & CSR Partnership at Humana People to People, a leading NPO– is invited to speaking at CG CSR Leadership Summit at Raipur on 6 Feb 2020.
Rusen Kumar, Chairman of CG CSR Leadership Summit said, “Humana, in partnership with Rajiv Gandhi Shiksha Mission, Chhattisgarh Govt. and Microsoft jointly recently launched the 16 Digital Learning Programme in Raigarh and Mungeli districts of Chhattisgarh state. We welcome him at our board.”
He has inclined to promote girl’s education and is working diligently to extend the usage of digital & STEM education for Government schools using multi-sectoral approaches to raise educated communities, throughout the country.
Chandan has worked with most sought after national, international NGOs and some of the esteemed Corporate Foundations of the country, in the last two decades.
Chandan is a graduate (Mathematics Honours) and has completed his post-graduation in Rural Management from Xavier’s Institute of Social Services (XISS). He has earned a reputation for proficiency in program management and multi stakeholder engagements, categorically with large scale programs on Education, Public Health and Community Development.
As a National Partnership Officer in Humana, India, he has been successful in facilitating a PPP operational model for scaling with Sarva Shisksha Abhiyan of various state governments to enhance enrolment and learnings in Govt. schools. He has also developed impactful operational models to strengthen and improve the quality of service delivery at the Govt. health facilities and Anganwadi centres by appropriately planning & investing CSR funds with multi stakeholder engagement programs, which has helped in achieving major maternal and child health indicators in Telangana.
Earlier, he was associated with TCI Foundation, Institute for Reproductive Health- Georgetown University and Population Foundation of India. Some of his significant contributions in the recent past are- initiating Digital Govt. Schools in Chhattisgarh in partnership with Microsoft and Chhattisgarh Government and mainstreaming of thousands of underprivileged out of school children in 4 states of India through public private partnership approaches.
Chhattisgarh CSR Leadership Summit & Awards
The 2nd Chhattisgarh CSR Leadership Summit themed at ‘CSR Partnership for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be held on February 6, 2020 in Raipur at Hotel Babylon International. The Summit is being hosted by India CSR, the largest CSR network.
The daylong summit is an inclusive forum to discuss various contemporary socio-economic agenda. The summit aims to put forth the CSR agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Chhattisgarh state. Visionary political leaders, corporate leaders, and CSR thought leaders will share their vision on SGDs in Chhattisgarh. Around 200 delegates representing diverse area of works are joining to express their commitment to the inclusive development for the state.
