MUMBAI (India CSR): The Hettich Poddar Wood Working Institute (HPWWI) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Biesse, marking a significant step forward in advancing skill development within India’s woodworking industry.
The partnership aims to enhance training on advanced woodworking machinery, empowering learners to integrate modern technology into craftsmanship. Beyond education, the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to empowering individuals through upskilling, driving environmental stewardship, and creating lasting value for the nation.
This marks the second collaboration between HPWWI and Biesse, the first being in Faridabad, and now expanding to Bhandup, Mumbai, symbolizing Biesse’s strategic entry into India’s financial capital.

With live workshops and interactive sessions, the event demonstrated how innovation and education together can drive transformation in India’s skill development landscape. Participants witnessed first-hand how Biesse’s advanced woodworking technologies can be seamlessly integrated into HPWWI’s training modules, providing students with practical, industry-relevant exposure.
