Hindustan Zinc made it big at SAP Ace Awards 2020 by winning two prestigious awards for its project Evolve & Confluence. While project Evolve has won Customer Excellence – Sales, Marketing & Service award, project Confluence has won Sourcing Excellence – Large Enterprise. The awards were bestowed in the recently held SAP Ace Awards 2020 ceremony via virtual conference.

This platform is designed to offer a robust and transparent, three-click buying experience for zinc, lead, and silver on a single platform based on real time pricing on LME/ LBMA. It aims to revolutionize the way metal is bought in the market.
Under Project Confluence, the company has ensured digitalization of entire Procure-to-Pay process using SAP Ariba’s suite of solutions around Commerce Automation and Supply Chain Automation including Auction Platform, Catalogue Management, Contracts Management, Pre-PO and Post-PO Collaboration, B2B Integration and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). This is one of the first such initiative in India covering the entire process on Ariba Platform.
