UDAIPUR (India CSR): Hindustan Zinc Limited, in collaboration with Zawar Mines Mazdoor Sangh, successfully concluded the 46th Mohan Kumar Mangalam (MKM) Football Tournament at the MKM Stadium in Zawar, Rajasthan. The tournament witnessed an electrifying finale, where Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB), Kerala clinched the championship title after a hard-fought victory over Doon Star Football Club, winning by 1-0 and drawing enthusiastic applause from football fans.
Held from January 24 to February 2, the prestigious tournament brought together 12 competitive teams, celebrating sporting excellence, teamwork, and the spirit of fair play. The concluding ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Victor Amalraj, former Indian footballer, along with Anshul Khandelwal, IBU CEO, Zawar Group of Mines.
Amalraj remarked, “The MKM Tournament has a unique energy that’s rooted in community pride and a love for the game that reminds us why grassroots football matters. The commitment shown by Hindustan Zinc is building a strong pipeline of grassroot talent and creating memorable experiences for players and fans alike.”

This year’s edition featured a competitive field of 12 teams from across India: Hindustan Zinc XI, Kashmir United FC (J&K), Ram Mohammed Singh Azad FC (Punjab), Central Secretariat (Delhi), BSF (West Bengal), RT Boys FC (Hyderabad), Income Tax FC (Ahmedabad), Doon Star FC (Dehradun), DFA Udaipur (Rajasthan), Rajasthan Police, Aheer United Football Club (Neemuch) and Kerala State Electricity Board (Kerala).
Zawar remains a cornerstone of Rajasthan’s football heritage, with Hindustan Zinc sustaining this legacy by continuing to develop promising players with professional coaching, modern infrastructure, and a strong focus on youth.
