HelpAge India COO Rohit Prasad, a veteran social development leader will be a special guest at CG CSR Leadership Summit to be held on 6 Feb 2020 at Hotel Babylon International, VIP Road, Raipur.
Rohit is working with HelpAge India since October 2017 as Chief Operating Officer (COO), and is responsible for program strategy and implementation in the area of healthcare, age care, livelihoods, and advocacy for the cause and care of the elderly.
HelpAge has been caring for disadvantaged elderly senior citizens for more than 30 years.
He has 20+ years of general management and organisation building experience across both corporate and development sector, with focus on healthcare and public health. This includes leadership roles in business planning and execution, program and initiatives implementation, operations and performance management.
Prior to HelpAge India, Rohit worked as Director-Development & Strategic Initiatives with Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI), a non-profit public private initiative. Earlier, he was with McKinsey & Company for over eight years in practice building and growth roles (across two stints) with its Asia Healthcare Practice and Organisation Practice. He served Ernst & Young India for over two years in its Markets Group and early in his career, he has done assignments with the India unit of Economist Intelligence Unit, Exim Bank of Korea, and Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited.
Rohit has an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi and Bachelors in Arts (Economics Honours) from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), University of Delhi.
Chhattisgarh CSR Leadership Summit & Awards
The 2nd Chhattisgarh CSR Leadership Summit themed at ‘CSR Partnership for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be held on February 6, 2020 in Raipur at Hotel Babylon International. The Summit is being hosted by India CSR, the largest CSR network.
The daylong summit is an inclusive forum to discuss various contemporary socio-economic agenda. The summit aims to put forth the CSR agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Chhattisgarh state. Visionary political leaders, corporate leaders, and CSR thought leaders will share their vision on SGDs in Chhattisgarh. Around 200 delegates representing diverse area of works are joining to express their commitment to the inclusive development for the state.
