NEW DELHI: Lakshya Bhartee Foundation celebrated its 10th Annual Day “The LBF Day” at a glittering ceremony at Kamani Auditorium. Sri Alok Perti, IAS (Advisor to Ministry of Coal) and Smt. Stuti Narain Kacker, IAS (Secretary, Department of Disability Affairs) were the Guests of Honor.
The LBF is engaged in teaching, training and host of other CSR & charitable activities. Recently it organized a “Polio-related Handicap Camp” at Junagarh in Kalahandi district of Odisha and very soon, The LBF is planning to launch a “Mobile Health-care Unit” at Odisha.
To celebrate Indian Art & Culture, The ceremony was marked with various cultural programs by students of LBIIHM, a unit of The LBF.
10 persons from various walks of life were conferred with “The LBF Visionary Award of Excellence 2012” for their immense contribution in their respective fields. In the past personalities like Dr Devi Shetty, Miss Saina Nehwal, Ms Mandira Bedi, Dr Samit Sharma (IAS), Ms Shikha Goel (IPS) et all has been conferred with this Award.
Ms Harsha Mukherjee was conferred with “The LBF Visionary Award of Excellence 2012” for her contribution in the field of “CSR Promotion”. Ms Mukherjee was appreciated for her Visionary roles in organizations like Ekjaa Foundation, Development Stories, IndiaCSR.in, and NGF Global etc.
