Privacy and Network Health Drive Changes for AdSense for Search and AdSense for Domains
NEW DELHI (India CSR): Google AdSense has announced an upcoming change to its reporting system for AdSense for Search (AFS) and AdSense for Domains (AFD) users. To enhance user privacy and maintain the long-term health of the AdSense network, the minimum reporting threshold for Custom Channels and Search Styles will be increased.
Increased Threshold for Detailed Reporting
Starting May 15, 2024, data on Custom Channels and Search Styles will only be available if they have accumulated at least 100 clicks per day over the past 7 days. This means that if a specific Custom Channel or Search Style falls below this threshold, its detailed performance data will not be displayed in reports.
“To ensure the privacy of our users and the long-term health of the network, we will be adjusting the reporting threshold for Custom Channels and Search Styles.”, Google informed today its partners.
