Total 25,118 doses administered in Chennai and Bengaluru
Standard Chartered Global Business Services (GBS), India, has successfully organised 51 vaccination camps till-date, as part of the firm’s commitment to protect the health and well-being of its employees and their families. Standard Chartered GBS, India, commenced with its weekly vaccination drive in Bengaluru and Chennai (operational bases for India) in the early months of April and May 2021, with an aim to ensure accessibility and availability of vaccines for those who were eligible and looking to get vaccinated.
Through partnerships with private hospitals and civic corporations, these camps were conducted at the office premises with adherence to all the safety protocols as laid down by relevant authorities. Virtual sessions with doctors were also conducted to address any queries on vaccination.
As of today, a total of 25,118 doses were administered through these camps in Chennai and Bengaluru. Apart from employees and their dependants, Standard Chartered GBS, India, has also extended this facility to other co-habiting family members of the employees.
These camps would continue to be operational until each and every colleague who wishes to get vaccinated, is inoculated.
