Global Goodwill Ambassador (GGA) has announced the appointment of Ganesh Somwanshi, Founder, Krescendo Communications as the Global Goodwill Ambassador.
The recognition is based on a person’s history of involvement in the non-profit world. As a Goodwill Ambassador, Ganesh will lend his name and dedicate his support to putting a spotlight on education, healthcare, impact investing, policy interests, scaling social purpose organisations, strategic philanthropy and will help companies achieve their sustainability goals.
There are approximately 6,000 Ambassadors from 148 countries in the program which is based on the 645 million LinkedIn network.
The appointment process is closely watched by the Founder, Richard DiPilla, Executive President and COO Lisa Jones, Country Director Youssef Saheb Bakhsh and Vice President, South East Asia Ms. Suchi.
Some of the initiative’s Ganesh conceptualised are “Wings Rainbow- World’s first LGBT driven radio cab service” the initiative which received appreciation from The U.S. Consulate and “Peace On Wheels- World’s first Meditation Van”. He is also one of the core committee members of Dastak a multi-cultural Theatre Festival, Singapore in which he introduced a play based on real life story of Bruce Mathieu who had spent 20 years of his life in prison. The play “Just Another Chance” created a ripple effect in the region and gave hope to the hopeless. He has also raised funds for many groups and ran marathons to raise money and took part in medical missions.
