Many companies in India have come forward working towards the vaccination drive and getting their employees vaccinated. Irrespective of employees working from home, the companies are reinforcing safety measures and doubling down on control to ensure the well-being of its employees as well as their families.
The companies are partnering with relevant authorities and facilities to conduct the vaccination drive.
MG Motor India
MG Motor India has announced that it will cover the Covid-19 vaccination cost for all its employees. The vaccination drive will be over and above the company’s existing medical insurance policy. The vaccination offered by the company is voluntary in nature and the company encourages all its employees to undergo the free vaccination drive. MG is also encouraging its dealer partners and contractors and vendors to do the same. The company will partner with relevant authorities at its Gurugram and Halol facilities as well as its regional offices to conduct the vaccination drive.
Amazon India
Amazon will cover the Covid-19 vaccination cost for all its India employees and associates as well as those in partner network ecosystem. This would include delivery service partner associates, including Amazon Flex drivers, ‘I Have Space’ store partners, trucking partners and their eligible dependents. The benefit also will be available to all sellers on Amazon.in with an active listing since last year.
ICICI Bank
ICICI Bank will provide COVID-19 vaccination for its employees and their immediate family members free of cost. The bank said it was a gesture of appreciation for the dedication, perseverance, and passion showed by its employees to ensure seamless services to millions of customers during the pandemic.
Deloitte
Deloitte will sponsor COVID-19 vaccination for its employees.
