AHMEDABAD, Gujarat, India (India CSR): The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) in Ahmedabad and Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU) in Vadodara, Gujarat, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem within the region. This collaboration, formalized on March 16, 2024, leverages the expertise of both institutions to empower budding entrepreneurs.

The MoU paves the way for a series of joint initiatives designed to cultivate a strong entrepreneurial spirit and support the development of a thriving startup climate among students.
The partnership will focus on providing training, capacity building programs, mentorship opportunities, incubation support for innovative ideas, and handholding services to nurture the entrepreneurial drive among students.
By combining the strengths of EDII’s established expertise in entrepreneurship development with MSU Baroda’s vast academic resources, this collaboration aims to foster a vibrant culture of entrepreneurship within the region.

Established in 1983, EDII is a not-for-profit, autonomous institute recognized as a National Resource Institute for Entrepreneurship Education, Research, Training, and Institution Building. Located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, EDII is sponsored by leading financial institutions including IDBI Bank Ltd., IFCI Ltd., ICICI Bank Ltd., and the State Bank of India (SBI).
