NEW DELHI: With an aim to emphasize the importance to adopt essential safety measures while driving, Ecom Express Private Limited, a leading end-to-end technology enabled logistics solutions provider to the e-commerce industry, has partnered with Delhi Traffic Police to organize road safety awareness drive in Delhi in celebration of the 31 National Road Safety Week 2020 from January 11th to 17th.
Marking the National Road Safety Week 2020, the Delhi Traffic Police organized a walkathon on Saturday, January 11. The Road Safety Walkathon which started from India Gate C-Hexagon – Rajpath culminated at Shastri Bhawan, covering a distance of around 1 km. Ecom Express employees participated in the walkathon covered the stretch carrying placards and shouting road safety slogans enthusiastically.
Ecom Express aims to urge citizens to follow traffic safety rules with the help of volunteers placed at traffic intersections during the week under supervision and guidance of the Delhi traffic police. As part of the drive, Ecom Express volunteers will spread awareness by displaying safety banners, placards and distributing informative handouts on essential rules by emphasizing the dangers of traffic safety violations and the preventive measures to avoid the same.
