New Delhi – Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd spent 2.05% on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as percentage of Profit after Tax (PAT) in FY2018-19.
The total PAT of the company is Rs 1277.3 crore in FY2018-19.
The company spent Rs 23.63 crore on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in FY2018-19 in accordance with the average net profit of the company for last three financial years being Rs 1181.83 crore.
The net profit of the company increased 92% to Rs 1879.5 crore in FY2019. This represents a Profit after Tax (PAT) margin of 12.2% of revenues versus 6.9% in FY2018.
The company focusses on specific CSR initiatives that support social development and the implementations of these programmes are carried out through various partner organisations.
The company works primarily in the areas of education, livelihood and health.
The company has a board-level CSR committee consisting of Bharat N Doshi as chairman, G V Prasad and K Satish Reddy.
The company’s CSR policy provides a constructive framework to review and organise social outreach programmes.
