Cook for Change Challenge – Season 3 Empowers Persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Through the Power of Food.
PUNE (India CSR): Dnyaan Prasad Global University proudly hosted the Cook for Change Challenge – Season 3 on March 1, 2026, an impactful initiative by the Varuksha Foundation, conducted as part of the university’s NSS activities. The event celebrated inclusion, resilience, and the transformative power of culinary arts for Persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
A total of 32–35 participants with intellectual and developmental disabilities took centre stage at the unique culinary competition, each supported by DPGU students who enthusiastically volunteered to be their friends and mentors to support them through the challenge. Hon. Dr. (Mrs.) Bhagyashree P. Patil, Chancellor DPGU was also in attendance. The event was a powerful demonstration of teamwork, compassion, and the spirit of experiential learning, core values that define DPGU’s approach to education.
