Divyaj Foundation led by Amruta Fadnavis, successfully kickstarted their construction for the Mother and Child Care Centre in Jawhar, Palghar. Amruta was seen commencing the day with a ceremonial Bhoomi Poojan. It was then followed by a free medical camp which provided vital health checkups and consultation to over 1000 attendees, which included women, children and men.
Doctors from esteemed hospitals like Juptier hospital and Six Sigma hospital volunteered for enhancing the reach and impact of the event held. There were informative awareness sessions from which women gained insights on family planning methods, pregnancy care, menstrual hygiene, gynecological health, guidance on the usage of contraceptives and their overall hygiene.
By ensuring regular meals, health check-ups, and access to primary medical facilities, the center aims to improve the overall well-being of, mainly the mothers and their newborns along with a future plan to incorporate training programs that can not only empower women but also help them for a self-reliant future.
