New Delhi – Delhi-based fintech company FIA Technology Services Pvt Ltd has crossed 20 million customers in June, the company said in a media release.
“Reaching a 20 million customer base is a milestone for us and is a testimony of customers having faith in FIA,” company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Seema Prem, said. The digital payment company got maximum number of subscribers from West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, according to the release.
“We are aligned to Govt’s larger agenda of enabling financial inclusion to the last mile,” Prem added.
With a digital payment network spanning 622 districts in the country, FIA provides banking and financial services to low-income households and minorities in India and Nepal. The services are provided to the customers at their door step, the release said.
The company has been profitable since its inception and has seen an increasing trend towards adoption of financial services across its range of products including basic banking services, mutual funds advisory and loan sourcing, the release said.
Company will soon be rolling out intuitive investing platform for the customers and focus on loan origination for the credit invisible, the release said.
“With the industry showing (an) upward trend, we are hopeful to see a large base getting added into Indian financial inclusion system, enabled by FIA’s cutting edge technology,” the release said quoting the CEO.
The company is also planning to cross-sell key products through its innovative technology platform, to increase its customer base, the release said.
