Adding to this momentum, STEMPlay Labs, Chennai-based education startup, has officially launched with the mission to make play the foundation of future learning. Founded by Aditi Prasad, a globally recognized STEM education advocate, the company champions the philosophy of “Swadeshi 2.0” — delivering Made in India, screen-free STEM toys designed for children across the world.

At its debut, STEMPlay Labs introduced two flagship products:
- Wonder Briks™️ — Patent-pending side-locking construction bricks that inspire imagination, problem-solving, and open-ended STEM play.
- PictoMath™️ — A fun, visual math card game that makes numbers enjoyable for children and adults alike (ages 6 to 99).

Profile – Aditi Prasad
Ms. Aditi Prasad is the Co-Founder of STEMPlay Labs, a women-led ed-tech startup creating screen-free STEM toys that inspire creativity, problem-solving, and lifelong learning in children. She holds a B.S.L LL.B degree from the Indian Law Society, India, and a Master’s in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.
Ms. Prasad is on a mission to educate young girls and boys and inspire them to develop real-world solutions through robotics, coding, STEM, and Maker-Spaces. She founded Indian Girls Code, an initiative promoting interactive and immersive education for girls, especially from underprivileged backgrounds, helping them aspire toward meaningful careers and opportunities in STEM fields.
Her work has been recognized internationally:
- Keynote Speaker at UNESCO Policy Forum, Bangkok (August 2017) – presenting “Cracking the Code: Girls’ Education in STEM.”
- Speaker at TEDx Chennai (March 2018) and TEDx Gateway Mumbai (March 2019), highlighting Indian Girls Code.
- Honored by the Government of Singapore (September 2017) as one of 15 Young Societal Leaders worldwide for a global leadership event organized by Temasek and the Singapore Government.
