With an emphasis on showcasing the power of Yoga, the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) recently organized a 5-day Yoga camp at the Guru Gobind Indraprastha University Health Mela from October 5th to October 10th, 2023. Over the course of 5 days, vistors enjoyed various offerings such as Yoga Therapy Consultations, Y-Break sessions, Yoga Fusion Programs, and Dietary Consultations. The MDNIY pavilion, which was visited by Shri Vikram Singh, MDNIY Director, also featured materials promoting holistic well-being.
Throughout the event, MDNIY organized Nukkad Natak, and insightful sessions on wellness and well-being with Yoga, led by faculty members. The Mela kicked off with a rejuvenating Yoga Music Fusion Program. Students participated in a Rangoli competition, and Dr. Khushbu Jain conducted a session on ‘Yogic Diet for Health and Wellness,’ accompanied by a Nukkad Natak performance.

On October 6th, Dr. Rameswar Pal discussed ‘Yogic Management of Respiratory Disorders,’ and another Nukkad Natak conveyed the message ‘करो योग, रहो निरोग- कार्यस्थल पर योग.’ The 7th of October featured a session on ‘Yogic Management of Diabetes Mellitus,’ and a Nukkad Natak on ‘करो योग, रहो निरोग-स्वस्थ जीवनशैली के लिए योग.’ While day 4 focused on ‘Stress Management through Yoga,’ and students performed a Nukkad Natak on ‘योग को अपनाएँ,जीवन स्वस्थ बनाएँ.’, the penultimate day played host to Ms. Sobika Rao who discussed the ‘Yogic Management for Musculoskeletal Disorders.’ The final day, October 10th, featured a lecture on ‘Yogic Management of Cardiovascular Diseases’ by Dr. S.
