In an effort to augment the health care facilities and other works for prevention of Covid 19 pandemic in district Korba in Chhattisgarh, NTPC Korba unit has provided financial assistance of Rs 20, 96, 760.00 to District COVID-19 Relief fund on 27th April 2021 under Corporate Social Responsibility and Community Care (CSR-CD).
This amount will be utilizing to create infrastructure for better health care facility of COVID affected persons in Korba district.
NTPC is the largest power utility of country having pan India presence with installed capacity of 65810 megawatt, fulfilling country’s power need. Korba unit at state Chhattisgarh is generating 2600-megawatt electricity and fulfilling the energy need of western and central Indian states.
Besides generation of electricity, NTPC Korba is contributing for community development under its CSR-CD activities from last 40 years.
