Mindtree Foundation, the CSR arm of global technology consulting and services company Mindtree, and Gubbachi, which works for the educational inclusion of underserved children and enables migrant communities, today launched a school transformation program for the students of Government Higher Primary School in Kodathi, Bengaluru.
The program will provide early childcare and educational intervention to boost the grade-level readiness of more than 300 students in grades one through seven and after school program for high school students.

Over the next three years, Mindtree Foundation will work with Gubbachi and the existing faculty members on teaching and learning at Kodathi Government Higher Primary School to bridge the learning levels of students and support around 270 families in ensuring the continuous education of their children.
As part of the program, Mindtree Foundation will help address learning gaps by mobilizing additional learning aids, additional teachers, sports and dance trainers, calendarized cultural events and field trips, a well-equipped library, and computer, science and mathematics labs.
Over the last four years, Mindtree has partnered with Gubbachi to advance the learning levels of more than 240 children of migrant laborers studying in grades one through three in the same school under the Department of Education’s flagship program – Nali Kali.

Mindtree Foundation runs a number of initiatives to promote the education of underprivileged children and increase their self-confidence. These include donating computers, facilitating foundational education, providing home lab kits and written material, and enabling alternative livelihood opportunities.
