Global technology brand Lenovo along with the American India Foundation (AIF), Americares India, and World Vision India propels its mission to help the masses affected by the COVID-19 second wave. Lenovo India in collaboration with Goldman Sachs (GS), launched the first 70-bed mobile hospital in Mother & Child Hospital, Doddaballapur, Bengaluru, Karnataka. The facility has been installed by American India Foundation (AIF) as part of the philanthropic efforts of GS and Lenovo India towards COVID care.
Pulse oximeters, oxygen concentrators and ventilators that were procured over the second phase of COVID-19 relief efforts have been delivered to hospitals across Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. The need of the hour was for all stakeholders to come together and work in unison to ensure every possible support is extended to the most vulnerable who are affected by this pandemic. That shared sense of hope and purpose encouraged Lenovo as a brand to support during this difficult time and helped us rally to meet the challenges. We thank every person at Lenovo and our NGO partners for all they are doing to help our customers who count on us and the communities that we call home. Together, we know we can meet these challenges.”, says Shailendra Katyal, Managing Director, Lenovo India.
