Global technology brand Lenovo along with the American India Foundation (AIF), Americares India, and World Vision India propels its mission to help the masses affected by the COVID-19 second wave. Through this initiative, Lenovo was able to touch the lives of three million people across India by contributing towards the successful procurement and delivery of medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators, refillable oxygen cylinders, invasive ventilators and oximeters.
Lenovo India in collaboration with Goldman Sachs (GS), launched the first 70-bed mobile hospital in Mother & Child Hospital, Doddaballapur, Bengaluru, Karnataka. The facility has been installed by American India Foundation (AIF) as part of the philanthropic efforts of GS and Lenovo India towards COVID care.
Pulse oximeters, oxygen concentrators and ventilators that were procured over the second phase of COVID-19 relief efforts have been delivered to hospitals across Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. Procurement and distribution of these concentrators involved managing international supply and logistics chains, as well as a complex distribution system within India to ensure they reach all the nooks and corners of India. To ensure smooth execution of this mass outreach, American India Foundation (AIF), Americares India and World Vision India joined hands to propel on this mission to help the impacted.
Hospital bed extensions across Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal were part of this initiative

Lenovo and Lenovo Foundation had been committed towards COVID-19 relief to meet India’s short-term and long-term requirements, via the Lenovo Foundation. It has donated medical equipment consisting of oxygen concentrators, refillable oxygen cylinders, invasive ventilators and oximeters to hospitals where the need is high. Lenovo Foundation has been at the forefront to support hospital extensions and medical frontline workers.
Last year, Lenovo supported migrant workers through food kits, mask donations. It also supported the migrant workers in partnership with giving India for digital skill development to enable them to find jobs.
