Dedicated Emergency Care Vehicle for the Elderly Deployed in Rishikesh in the Presence of Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami
DEHRADUN (India CSR): In a step towards strengthening emergency healthcare services for the elderly, JSW MG Motor India today handed over a specially customised Hector Ambulance to the Society for Promotion of Youth and Masses (SPYM). The ceremony, held at the Chief Minister’s residence in Dehradun, was graced by the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, underscoring the significance of the initiative.
The launch of the ambulance coincided with the International Day for Older Persons, reflecting the joint commitment of industry and civil society to enhancing elder care and ensuring swift medical response in critical situations.
State-of-the-Art Ambulance for Elder Care
The customised MG Hector Ambulance will primarily operate in Ram Vihar and Prem Nagar in Rishikesh, offering emergency transport and care for elderly patients.
Fitted with advanced medical facilities, the vehicle is equipped with:
- Oxygen bottle & system regulator
- Auto-loader stretcher
- Ventilator
- Para-monitor
- Other essential emergency equipment
The ambulance has been designed to provide safe, swift, and reliable emergency response, particularly benefiting the vulnerable senior population in Uttarakhand.
