Udaipur (India CSR): Hindustan Zinc, India’s largest & only integrated zinc-lead-silver producer, has released its 5th Tax Transparency Report. The report ensures proactive transparency in tax reporting and greater accountability towards its stakeholders. Additionally, the report provides their stakeholders with detailed information about the overall economic contribution of Hindustan Zinc to the local, state, and central Governments.
The company believes that transparency is an enabler of sustainable development and its Tax Transparency Report is designed to share details of the taxes the company pays, and the contributions made to the public finances. This report demonstrates the company’s diligent reporting & statutory responsibilities thereby benefitting the community. This is the 5th Tax Transparency Report of Hindustan Zinc the contribtuion made during the last fiscal year.

The company has contributed over USD 2 Bn in FY 2021-22 to the exchequer which plays an important part in wider economic and societal impact and therefore plays a key role in the development of the country. In form of dividend, since the year of disinvestment, Hindustan Zinc has contributed over USD 4 Bn to Government of India.
