Gandhinagar (India CSR) – In an ambitious move to empower the youth and contribute to community development in Gujarat, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Private Limited (HCCB), a leading FMCG company in India, has announced a significant initiative. Partnering with Kaushalya University, HCCB aims to train 5,000 individuals in sales and marketing across Ahmedabad and Kheda districts. This announcement was made in Gandhinagar in the presence of notable government and university officials.
Empowering Youth Through Skill Development
The training program, designed to cater to a diverse group of participants including recent graduates, current students, and college dropouts over 18, is structured as a three-month course. It includes a comprehensive 30-hour curriculum that combines face-to-face and online sessions, offering an intensive learning experience. This initiative is set to provide these individuals with valuable skills, enhancing their employability and career prospects.
Holistic Approach to Learning and Development
HCCB’s role in this initiative is multifaceted. Apart from conducting training sessions and providing program materials, the company plans to facilitate industry expert interactions and connect learners with local industries and entrepreneurial opportunities, all at no cost to the participants. Kaushalya University will contribute by introducing learners to HCCB’s programs, providing necessary infrastructure, and assisting with assessments.
Transformative Community Development Projects
Beyond skill development, HCCB also announced various community development initiatives in 11 villages. These projects focus on critical areas such as clean water access, sustainable agriculture, healthcare, and education infrastructure, aiming to bring about significant improvements in the quality of life in these communities.

Shri Balvantsinh Rajput, a prominent government official, emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between government bodies, the industrial sector, and educational institutions in creating well-trained graduates for diverse corporate roles.
