MUMBAI: Anand Rathi Wealth Limited has always been a responsible organization and has always strived to make positive change in the society. In line with this objective, the company has made significant contributions to corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities in the financial year 2021-22.
As per the provisions of Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013, companies that meet certain criteria are required to spend at least 2% of their average net profit for the preceding three years on CSR activities. Anand Rathi Wealth Limited has taken this requirement seriously and has allocated and spent a total of Rs. 19,171,825 (1.91 Crore Rupees) on CSR activities for the financial year 2021-22.

To ensure compliance with the Act, the company has formed a CSR committee, as per the requirements of the Act. The committee has formulated and recommended to the Board a Corporate Social Responsibility Policy (CSR Policy) indicating the CSR activities that can be undertaken by the company. The funds allocated for CSR activities have been primarily utilized through the year on the activities which are specified in Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013.
The company’s CSR Policy focuses on promoting special education, healthcare, rural development, animal welfare, and homes for women and orphans. These activities align with the company’s goal of making positive change in society and have been identified as areas in which the company wishes to direct its resources as part of its ongoing CSR program.
