Anurag Srivastava, who manages Cisco CSR initiatives in India has committed personal investment to deploy 100 Oxygen Concentrators in India adding to the covid-19 efforts by starting a fundraiser.
“Our country is seeing cruel visuals of people running around for oxygen cylinders and succumbing to this deadly disease. During this crisis, individual volunteering spirit is a ray of hope and I am trying to do my bit in this unprecedented situation. Basis the critical nature of every individual, these concentrators will be shipped across India. This is just a small dent in this huge problem but WE need to take the lead”, he wrote on fundraiser page.
He has pledged his personal investments to place orders for 100 oxygen concentrators. Delivery is expected by 30th April. Concentrators will be deployed in Govt hospitals/PHCs with the help of local volunteers and health officials. Most affected districts will be given priority.
Every Rs. 1000 contribution will be matched by Rs. 500 from his personal investments.
