PATNA (India CSR): The World Management Conference (WMC) 2025, organized by the Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP), concluded today with resounding success. Centered around the theme “Business Resilience”, the conference brought together thought leaders, academics, industry professionals, and students to deliberate on critical global and national challenges through the lens of resilience.
Conference Highlights:
The day began with the Inaugural Session featuring a ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by the Inaugural Address by Dr. Rana Singh, Director of CIMP, who emphasized the importance of resilience in contemporary management practices. This was followed by an insightful conference overview by Dr. Ranjit Tiwari, Convenor, WMC-2025.

The session continued with two powerful keynote talks.
Anand Kumar, Managing Director, S Cube Capital, Singapore, delivered the Special Keynote Address, offering global insights into strategic resilience and capital dynamics. Further, he stressed upon providing solutions to flexible solutions for resilience.
Deepak Mandal, Director – Finance, Thomson Reuters India, addressed participants with a compelling talk on the evolving landscape of financial systems and adaptive leadership. Additionally, he stressed upon competition to collaboration for resilience.

Post-break, the conference moved into its technical segments:

- Track II A: HR, Gender & Organizational Resilience
- Track II B: Strategy, Sustainability & Case Studies
Each track was chaired by senior faculty and experts, and featured paper presentations and discussions on a wide range of contemporary issues—from digital transformation and sustainability to gender equity and financial stability.

Valedictory Session:
The day concluded with the Valedictory Session, where Dr. Santosh Kumar presented the Session Summary, highlighting key academic takeaways. The Best Paper Awards were announced and presented to:
- First Prize: Gopala B, Alliance School of Business, Alliance University, Bangalore
- Second Prize: Yashodeepto Narayan Ghosh, Dr. K. K. Bardhan – Dr. B. C. Roy Academy of Professional Courses (MAKAUT), West Bengal
- Third Prize: Khushboo Kumari and Dr. Kailash Chandra Pradhan, Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Motihari, Bihar
The conference closed with a Valedictory Address by Dr. Rana Singh, reiterating CIMP’s commitment to fostering dialogue on pressing global issues and promoting academic excellence.
