Chhattisgarh Govt Orders Major IAS Reshuffle; 14 Officers Get New Assignments

Senior IAS officer Subrat Sahu has been given charge of the State Education Board, while Farid Ansari (2016 batch) has been promoted as Secretary, School Education Department

RAIPUR (Chhattisgarh) (India CSR): The Chhattisgarh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, has carried out a major administrative reshuffle, transferring and assigning new responsibilities to 14 IAS officers. The changes, notified by the General Administration Department, impact senior bureaucrats across finance, education, energy, industries, and district administration.

The order reflects the government’s focus on streamlining governance, strengthening departmental leadership, and enhancing service delivery at the state and district levels.

Following the appointment of Vikasheel as the new Chief Secretary, the Chhattisgarh government announced major administrative reshuffle today evening. A total of 14 IAS officers were transferred. Senior bureaucrats Renu Pille and Subrat Sahu were relieved of their Secretariat responsibilities.

Dr. Rohit Yadav has been appointed as Secretary, Public Relations Department, in place of P. Dayanand. Mukesh Bansal has been given additional charge of Aviation, while Commissioner of Public Relations Dr. Ravi Mittal will now also serve as Director, Aviation.

Jitendra Yadav has been made Collector of Rajnandgaon, while Dr. Fariha Alam Siddiqui has been assigned the charge of Director, Food.

Kuldeep Sharma has been entrusted with additional charge as MD of the Warehousing Corporation.
